This is likely a good spot, but I just unlucky. I came here in the evening and tried to thumb a ride to Dundee. Tried for two hours, asked at the gas station, nothing worked. Then I slept hidden in nearby bushes (it's hidden and doable, not comfortable) and continued the next morning. It took me like 20 minutes to thumb a car. Btw, the gas station staff is awesome, I went here in the evening (around 8pm) asked for a cardboard and the guy told me that I can have all the pastry that I want because he has to throw it out. Don't count on that, but he made my day.

I was very lucky, I ask to the first person at the gas station and he was going north to dundee (Scotland M6) I don’t know if it the best but it work for me. I went by bus here.

First spot i ever hitchhiked from :) Used it several times never had to wait longer than 5 minutes and always took me straight up to Dundee! Awesome.
